Context
When large golf groups are split into multiple flights, the social experience fragments. People finish with disconnected stories and limited awareness of what happened in other groups.
That disconnect weakens the shared feeling that should define group rounds.
Intent
I set out to design an iOS-first product concept that reconnects split flights during and after a round, without disrupting gameplay focus.
The product needed to feel premium and social, while remaining practical for real course use.
Build
I explored interaction flows for score context, live moments, and post-round recap. Product decisions centered on reducing noise while increasing shared visibility across flights.
Iteration focused on balancing social engagement with the pace and etiquette of the course.
Outcome
The concept showed a clear value proposition: better group cohesion without requiring constant interaction. The strongest feedback was around post-round continuity and social memory.
The project remains in progress as positioning and feature depth are refined.
Lessons
Sports products need to respect context first. Utility and etiquette define whether features are welcomed or ignored.
Social value increases when interaction is lightweight and naturally timed to the activity rhythm.
